[Ansteorra] I have a question

I walked into Waldenbooks one day, looking for books on Irish dancing. (surprised? I didn't think so.) The lady said, "You'd like the SCA." "Oooh! I've read about that! That's awesome!" "Oh, Murder At the War?" "Uh... What? No, Horrorscope by Nicholas Adams." Actually his name is John Peel; that's just a pen name. mooooving on... just so happened that Sundered Shield was that weekend in Water Valley. She took me over to Hancock Fabrics to buy fabrics for a tunic. Guess who was there? Just guess. No? It was Britta. And not just Britta. Or Britta the squire. No. It was QUEEN Britta. I got set up to make a tunic and then blew my grandmother's mind with it. But I went, and was hooked. Then i put on heavy armor and got drunk happy on that until my bell got rung and I cried for no reason at all. Then I put on rapier armor and was hooked on that drug for the rest of my life. "Why do you do rapier fighting?" "I want to be a dealer, I mean a white scarf." Did I mention the pretty clothes? =D
