I was just allowed to join without any moderator approval required.  Also, it 
did not offer me anyplace to enter my SCA name, or any other comments.You may 
need to alter your settings.

I have created a new Yahoo Group for Ansteorran parents and families. It is
located at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ansteorran_parents

You do not have to be a paid member to join, however it is not "open
membership". So, when you click "Join Group" please put your SCA name,
Mundane name and group (if applicable). I would like this to be a place
where we can all come together to discuss children's activities and issues
in our kingdom. I have put our regional MoCs on the list as moderators to
help answer any questions that parents might have. There are many things
included in the Yahoo Group. There are Applications, Maps, Links, Files
Section, Calendar, and many other cool things.  So come check us out!
