[Ansteorra] Sekanjabin recipe: Take Two

I have had a number of requests for the recipe I used to make the sekanjabin
that was served at Queen's Champion. I figured the easiest way to do this
would be to post it here on the Ansteorra list. So, for everyone who wanted
the recipe, enjoy!


Sekanjabin
 
4 cups sugar
2 1/2 cups water
1 cup red wine vinegar
handfull of fresh mint
 
Dissolve sugar in water; when it comes to a boil add the vinegar. Simmer for
1/2 hour. Add a handful of mint, remove from fire, let cool. Dilute the
resulting syrup to taste with ice water. The syrup stores without
refrigeration.
