[Ansteorra] NMS clarification

Having sat quite a few gates in the last few years, I would like to add something to that...

The text reads as follows:

Any adult person who is not a member and pays any amount of the site fee will be assessed the non-member surcharge.

It would help gate workers if it read something like this:

Any adult person who does not show proof of membership and pays any amount of the site fee will be assessed the non-member surcharge.

I know that sounds nitpicky, but every single shift I sit, I get *at least* one person who wants to argue with me, or attempt to cajole me, into letting them skip out on the NMS because, 'Well, they are members, you know.'.  :P

I sympathize with them, because I've forgotten my card before as well, but I didn't try to argue; I just paid the fee. Anyway, it would be less confusing, because some people really don't seem to understand that you have to have proof. (Or don't want to understand, lol.)

As a final clarification- both Donnchadh and Alistair as well as Daniel
de Lincoln are correct.

 

  Any adult person who is not a member and pays aany amount of the site

  Any child who pays the full site fee and is not a member will pay the
non-member surcharge. 

 

  Any adult is pays nothing (ie. is comped) does not pay the non-member
surcharge as 0x3=0

 

  Any child who is not a member and pays a discounted fee will not pay
the non-member surcharge.

ideas that have been generated to encourage membership as well as
bringing in new people.
