I must add that I did not mean to stir negative feelings (though it seems to be a natural talent).  That said I concur with Cynric and ask that people who might get in a huff look at the history in context.

I should also remind anyone who is offended at the apparent Texas- centricity that when the name was chosen, Oklahoma played little if any role in the SCA region as it then existed. Stargate, Steppes, Bjornsborg, and Bordermarch were the primary players all of which are in Texas. I'm not trying to minimize the extremely important role that the northern groups have played in kingdom history, just suggest that their apparent omission was not done with malice aforethought.
