According to this article this week on Yahoo Finance, both Houston and Dallas gained 140,000 each, while later in the article it notes that New Orleans lost 300,000 residents in '05 and '06

'Course, I laughed, because I know where a good chunk of those folks ended up - in Houston and Dallas (and other parts Texas)  !!
Houston papers have been noting that at least 100,000 of the folks from Lousiana came here after the hurricanes, but then stayed for the better opportunities.

The US Census Bureau just released the population estimates for 2009 by city.  It was interesting to look at the sizes of Ansteorra's Baronies and Province. Some metro areas have more than one group.  It would be interesting if someone could put the membership numbers up for each group as well.
