[Ansteorra] "adventures" on the way home Was; Home Alive

While not a B, I did probably use up most, if not all, of the good karma I had built up this past week while being a "Royal Nanny", one of 3 to 7, yes seven, children. We EARNED good karma. (If anybody got pics of us with the kids on leashes, I would love copies.) (I wonder if we could have put in for volunteer points? Maybe next time. Shudder.)
First, while just east of Longview, we were bumped on the side by a simi-trailer. It may have been pushed by the wind & I don't think the driver even knew he hit us. Luckily the only damage we found, when we got off the highway to check, was a broken casing for the passenger side mirror.
Second, while on I635, elevated area, in the snow, we turned into a pinball. Starting in the middle lane & going about 35, we spun to the left sidewall. Without hitting, we then spun to the right wall. All the while I was praying, "please don't let us go over'. We stopped, facing the right wall straight on. We didn't hit either side. And thankfully we were not in a group of cars. We slowly backed away and continued on till we got off onto Jupitur(sp). I LOVE anti-lock brakes & my angels.

My passenger, Fiona, got home at 3am. I made the final 18 miles by 4am. Much better to go slow and get there alive. (I was hoping to win the lotto. Oh Well. ;-p )
Glad to be home, with the truck unloaded. Now if I could just get my voice back. I sound like a frog.

Gabriele
