Greetings,

It is my great pleasure to be able to announce that Owen will be released from the hospital today.  The road to restored health will be a long one, but we are in good spirits at this news.  This will be effecting his ability to travel and we will do our best to keep everyone updated about the changes.  For now though his doctors have told him not to travel.

For those who may not know yet, Owen became ill at GW and upon our return home was sent straight to the hospital by his doctor.  He has been there ever since with what was finally diagnosed as a strep infection.  This is the same kind of strep that causes strep throat, but had become internalized.  It is not contagious, but the wound on his leg will take some months to heal.

We very much appreciate those who have called with good wishes, and those who have been including him in your prayers and other good thoughts.
