[Ansteorra] Middle Eastern Symposium and Steppes Middle Eastern Dance Championship at Steppes Warlord

Greetings one and all, in addition to the traditional competitionss held at
Steppes Warlord this year we are having a Middle Eastern Symposium in
conjunction with the Middle Eastern Theme for the event. We have classes in
different aspects of Middle Eastern Dance from the beginner to more advanced
classes. Classes in different on different topics regarding Middle Eastern
Life in the middle ages and music classes for any person for any level of
drummer.

During the hafla Saturday night we will have a Middle Eastern Dance
Competition for the Steppes Middle Eastern Dance Champion with exhibition
and free dancing afterwards.Rain or shine the Hafla and the competition will
take place as both are in the hall Saturday night.

Here are the rules for the Steppes Baronial Middle Eastern dance
competition:
Documentation is encourage and not required
Please use 'period appropriate' music if you choose to utilize "canned"
music rather than live musician.
There is a time limit for each piece not to exceed 4 minutes.
And finally, we encourage and invite all ranges of dancers. We will have a
novice and advanced category as well as allow exhibition only.

Also we need rugs to cover the floor of the civic center bring out your rugs
to the event and bring a Middle eastern decor not only to the Hafla but also
to the whole event.
