Be careful about using Drano. It has aluminum in it. You can get lye
from Tractor Supply for cleaning drains.

I have made it using Red Devil Lye, lard, and water. No stove needed,
used a plastic 5 gallon bucket and a big wooden spoon. Took about an
hour, I think. It's been a while.
