[Ansteorra] Tennessee Flooding - Help for Jack and Kali

Greetings all!

I have not seen this hit the Ansteorran list. Two good gentles who live in
Gleann Abhann have been devistated by the flooding. I forward this on and
suggest that if you can help, deposit to the PayPal account, or send Lowe's
gift cards. Replacing all of the sheet rock in their home is the first
priority so that they can begin to make it livable again.

I just talked to Jack. He is now told by Building Code Enforcemant that all
86 sheets of drywall has to come out of his house; they had thought some
could be saved, but Code told them it all has to come out... and all the
insulation, too.

Both of their vehicles were under water and ruined; her's has some
insurance; his didn't. They are afoot right now.

Their stove may be saved. The rest of the appliances can't be saved...
fridge, microwave, etc.

He doesn't have transportation yet, so we will be helping him get the things
he needs to get his walls done. They were told their FEMA money will come in
3-4 weeks... whatever they will get from them, which doesn't help them right
now at all.

Right now, building supplies are what they are desperate for. They need the
following NOW:

Lowe's gift cards
86 sheets of drywall
drywall screws
drywall tape
drywall mud
10 rolls of insulation

They will need just about everything a home can need; what wasn't ruined by
the water was STOLEN... yep, stolen!! They could still see the tracks where
someone backed up to their house, hitched up his boat and trailer, loaded it
down and took off with their stuff. Taken while they were not allowed back
in by the police!!! How low can a human go!

They are living with a friend while they gut their house.

While they will need furniture, etc, later, right now they can't store it.
The house has to come first.
They are on a borrowed computer, and can't reply on email very often.

They will need Walmart gift cards, most especially Lowe's (there isn't a
Home Depot around there), ANY gift cards to anywhere so they can replace
personal items, etc. Most of their towels and clothing washed away. They
saved a little garb; washing it fast is not a real option. They need washing
powder and money for the machines.

They are asking for local help to finish tearing out and installing drywall
and insulation. ANY help is appreciated!!! Call Jack @ 901-634-6306 to offer
your hands. A truck that can haul drywall would be MUCH appreciated!!
Remember, they are without a vehicle of any sort.

Thanks to all that help. It's hard to believe the devastation! Unreal... a
mini-Katrina. Please, if you can, help.
