Ok, if you read this, please read it in a calm voice because Im calm while writing it and my writing skills stink.

I find it frustrating to organize things when authorization processes for offices take a LONG time to complete. For instance, I was authorized as a youth marshal for boffer back in March. When I volunteer for things I usually take the ball and run with it, like I have been doing with this one . My problem is that I keep hitting walls,"you cant marshal unless you are authorized" is what I keep hearing, and I realize that. So why does it take so long for anything in the SCA to get done? Is there someway to speed up the process? I also keep getting the same responses with starting up a new group here in Sherman/ Denison. I know what the rules are, I have read all the handbooks that I need to read for boffer and Seneshal. We have 19 paid members out here and most of them are children. If I have to wait until the long drawn out process completes, I will not have any interest and these people that paid their money to become members of this awesome
 organization, the SCA, will move on to other things. Arent there people that say yes instead of giving all the negatives and say no? I would hope so, because under the circumstances I often wonder how anything gets done in the SCA. I'm hoping that this little email will get people thinking and get things more streamlined for future members who want to pick up the ball and run it. Thanks for your time,
