Wouldn't cucumber slices be a good addition for the veggies? They're  
not salty like the dill spears, but they are the precursors to  
them. :) And they're good for you. Perhaps some celery as well, with  
ranch like dip or peanut butter of course to spread on them for the  
protein. :)
