[Ansteorra] Pennsic XL fighters!!

A few descriptive notes on our fighters at Pennsic War XL




HRM Lochlan and HRH Aaron standing alone on a bridge issued the challenge, "Send as many as you need to fight us" 
The enemy sent their whole force in a massive charge, hundreds against two. They should've brought more, for when a hold was called and the dust settled our valient leaders still stood!
 Single combat was again offered by our King, then the Prince, and then by Sir Kief. No one was brave enough to face them.
In the field battles, units twice our size tried to crush us and failed over & over. Some units tried to run from us but could not escape from our blades. Against far superior numbers, the Ansteorran line stood strong. Even when we were stretched so thin that each man had to cover huge gaps, we all did our job and single fighters were able to repulse entire units.
Crown & Heir with sword and shield lay waste to noble foes up and down the line, going to where they were needed, killing & then moving on. Sir Gaston & Sir Wilhelm's commands rang loud as our spearmen destroyed all who came near. 
Our younger fighters, such as Orion & Thorsson proved their might and stood as rocks against the battering tide of the foe.
 On the Rapier field, the story was similar. Our brave fighters were outnumbered but not outclassed. Her Majesty led such a valient charge against terrible odds and her warriors were so deadly that the enemy actually applauded!
 Such feats as were done at Pennsic this year were a credit to our noble heritage and would not shame the memory of those who have gone before us. I stood in the line with as fine a band of brothers as I have ever had the honor to serve with.

asically an open tourney of all Dukes and sitting royalty of the SCA at
ennsic. Vivat your majesty. :)
