[Ansteorra] Centurion Cloaks

I was re-reading some old event reviews I wrote years ago, and something
caught my eye that I was curious about.  When Vigge Jonsson  (
http://historian.ansteorra.org/wiki/index.php?title=Vigge_Jonsson) was made
a Centurion, there was mention at that time that the cloak he received was
"one of the original six."  I am curious to know more about the cloaks --
who made them? Who originally received them, and who did they pass them
down to?  Who created the concept of the cloaks? Really, any information I
can get my hands on :)
