Might be more an issue of educating the court as well as any lawyer you retain; perhaps some affidavits from a marshall or other SCA officers/participants with some attached web pages about the SCA and safety would be a good start.

Sorry for the bandwidth, but does anyone know a good Family Law lawyer who 
practices in Bryn Gwlad (Williamson County)?  Preferably one who knows something 
about the S.C.A.?  My Ex-wife is threatening to take me to court because she 
thinks the S.C.A. is too dangerous for our 7-year-old son.  I mean, he gets to 
watch people sword fighting after all!  How safe can that possibly be?  Grump!
