Tomorrow is the last day to pre-register for Gulf Wars! You can't put
it off any longer!

Go to http://acceps.ansteorra.org/GW2011/gw_event_main.php?eid=105 to
complete your online registration.

Once you have pre-registered, contact your local land coordinator to
make sure they know you are camping with them!  :)

If you think you are arriving before the war starts, please contact
me. I would like to make sure that you are on the list and that you
don't set your camp up in the wrong spot. I don't want anyone's war to
start off with unhappiness!

While you are packing, some things to think about:

1. Sleeping caps are your friend. Wearing something on your head may
mean the difference between a nice warm sleep and a fretful chilly
sleep that will leave you tired the next day.
2. Waterbearing is now known as Fighter Support - nothing has changed
except the name, which means they still need donations of empty, clean
2-liter bottles to serve water and gatorade during the war. If you
have room to throw a couple in while you are packing, I'm sure Fighter
Support will appreciate it greatly! I've got a stash piling up already
(which scares me - I didn't realize how much soda we were drinking!).
3. If you have some free time, volunteer! Any event always needs help
with something. Volunteer Point will be open all week and will have
sign up sheets available for every activity. This is a great way to
meet new people and to help out your local group.
4. Pack more socks than you think you will need. Warm, dry feet are happy feet!
