[Ansteorra] Estrella War A&S Competition Deadline

Greetings all,

This is a reminder that anyone entering into the Estrella War 27 A&S
competition must have their pre-reg RECEIVED by Jan 15th, 2010 (Just
over 1 week away).

For further details please see the EW web site (in the A&S section)
and/or the Aten Arts Web site.  If you are not sure what to do, please
contact myself or THL Raven (Atenveldt KMoAS) directly and find out.

The categories this year are:

Toys
Heraldic Banner, Flag, or Standard
Woven Textiles

I highly encourage anyone thinking about entering to just do it!  This
is one of the only events where artisans are called to represent not
only themselves but also their Kingdom.

Your work will be viewed by a large part of the known world and the
judges are often top in their field.  This gives you access and
feedback about your art that you would be hard pressed to find on your
own Kingdom.  For those that worry about your scores or tough
comments, focus instead on who you can meet, what you can learn, and
what you can share.  Some of my best friends in the SCA I met because
they judged one of my items.

Check in of entries at war (which have been Pre-reg) is on Sat Feb
19th at 8-9:30am.
