[Ansteorra] Arriving early to Gulf Wars

This year, for the first time ever, Kings Arrow Ranch will be allowing
registered Gulf Wars attendants to arrive the week before Gulf War.
This was done at the request of the site owner to allow folks to
extend their vacations before Gulf Wars. (Rumor has it that Mardi Gras
is occurring this week in New Orleans...) Access to the site before
Thursday, March 10th will be controlled by Kings Arrow Ranch and
anyone arriving before that date will have to pay $35 to the site
owner directly.

To be clear, if you want to arrive at Kings Arrow Ranch before March
10, you must:
1) Be registered for the entire week of Gulf Wars as Early On Non Staff
2) Pay the extra fee of $35 to Kings Arrow Ranch upon arrival
3) Not expect to be covered by SCA, Inc insurance
4) Not expect any of the typical Gulf Wars amenities

This is not an opportunity to lay claim to camping land by setting up
your camp in your favorite location. Just because your great-great
grandpa was a Sooner (or a Boomer) doesn't mean you have to carry on
the family tradition. You must coordinate with the Land Staff before
arriving at Kings Arrow Ranch to determine where to set up your camp.
Any camps in the wrong location will be politely but firmly asked to
relocate when the Land Staff arrives after March 10.

>From March 10th on, access will be controlled by Gulf Wars. Only those
registered as Early On (Staff or Non-Staff) *and* in the Early On
database maintained by the autocrats will be allowed on site. At this
time, all those arriving Early On will be expected to help prepare the
site for Gulf Wars in the predetermined manner which allowed them on
site early.

To be clear, if you plan on arriving at Gulf Wars March 10-12, you must:
1) Be registered as Early On (Staff or Non Staff)
2) Be listed in the Early On database maintained by the autocrats

If you plan on arriving at Gulf Wars before the event officially opens
on Sunday, March 13 please contact the Land Staff and coordinate with
them before setting up your camp. Tetris is hard enough to play around
the trees, inclines, and holes - adding in tents and campsites make it
much more difficult and the Land Staff may start off the war grumpy.

Gulf Wars officially opens on Sunday, March 13 at 7:00am. At this
time, everyone is welcome on site as long as they have paid their site
fee. It is highly recommended to preregister so that you move through
Gate quickly and a plot of land is set aside for you with your local
group, household, etc.
