My advice is, to understand and remember what your true roles are. As Baron and Baroness, you are the individuals who set the stage that your Barony and it's guests play in. You are there to create an atmosphere so that amazing things happen. You Do Not Run The Barony. That is the job of the Baronial Officers. Your job is much more difficult. You must lead the group towards a shared vision of play. It is a lazy or at least uninformed Baron or Baroness who think they must perform the seneschal's job. Remember you are the embodiment of the persona of your barony and should focus the direction of its play. When it becomes a challenge to keep ahead of your group that is when you will know that you are doing something right. If you ever have to drive, beg, and cajole YOU have a problem; your Barony lacks vision and leadership. By the way, that is your job.
