[Ansteorra] straw bales

Straw is what's left over after you harvest (most commonly) wheat or oats. Hay is grass.

You get straw bales at some feed stores for $3 - $5 a bale after harvest time. 

Straw will bend fine, but it does tend to kink. Hay is, as I said, grass, with all that implies.
