At the Houston Musuem of Natural Science, from May 27th to Sept 5, 2011.  On 
tour for the first time in the United States, the exhibit ДРЕВНЯ УКРАЇНА 
(Ancient Ukraine) - Golden Treasures and Lost Civilizations covers 6,000 years 
of history of various cultures that once inhabited the territory of modern 
Ukraine. 

 
The exhibit includes pottery and scupture, gold jewelry and other jewelry 
incorporating precious stones, filigree, granulation and inlays , bronze 
sculptures, amphorae, silver vessels, common utensils and icons and religious 
regalia - from the  Trypillian, Scythian, Hellenist and Roman cultures, through 
to the Byzantine, concluding with artwork from the 11th to the 19th century.
