And I only wish I lived closer...

One huge benefit I've had from fighting in these CA tournaments Eadric is
referring to, is the ability to not panic when there is incoming fire. At
the distances the tourney uses, you've for about 1/3 seconds to dodge an
incoming shot. With enough practice, you can get into a "zone" and just flow
from shot to dodge to shot.

Period format? Not really. Fun? Yes. Also a great introduction to shooting
at people, and being shot at for newcomers.
