[Ansteorra] Question about researching historic pathogens

Salut cozyns,

I for one would be interested in an article on the Medieval take on  
rabies. Was it seen as possession? Madness?surely the link between mad  
dogs and their biting victims could not go unnoticed? Could it?

Were there any other lucky guesses? Attribution of cholera with bad  
water? Or does the name tell the tale?
