How do I now express them to the Board of Directors, please?

Point 1---Historical examples listed were Father son, brothers, 
co-emperors ruling in different parts of the empire, etc.  no 
significant others of the same sex.  Historically, Kings (male) have had 
Queens (female) whether they liked each other or not.  The purpose was 
to hopefully produce offspring to inherit.  We do not pass down the 
thrones that way, so it may not be a requirement.   But to 'look' 
period, to give inspiration to those of the 'Queen' cult and to pretend 
to be casting a period looking play, it should be a male and female cast 
in the roles.

Point 2--whether Queens always had power historically to influence the 
Kings to the degree that our current ones do, they did often inspire men 
for good or bad.  Today they can be a very civilizing influence on the 
'warrior cast'.  And they also give women a voice in a mostly male 
dominated arena (can't quote the number of female vs. male fighters, but 
I'm fairly confident women are in the minority).  Under the current 
rules women are always guaranteed a voice in the ruler ship.

Point 3--Speaking of statistics, of the number of fighters entering 
crown, how many of them would want a same sex consort?  What percentage 
of the entrants of crown does this group represent and is it enough to 
justify the change?

Because in my most Tevye voice:  Point 4--Tradition!  In most cases 
change must be very necessary to overcome long held tradition without 
resistance and resentment.

By the way as far as I know, Crown is the only tournament where the by 
laws require both genders.  In other tournaments, the inspiration can be 
whomever you choose.
