I used one at BAM in my modern bubble (read: non-insulated) tent. Worked
fabulously.

At home, I use(d) a larger sunflower, tank-mounted unit. And no, cooking
"instant" bacon in front of it did not work well at all. 15 mins per piece
was too slow :)
