Realistically, there's not much stopping this from happening right 
now. (There was a time in the West Kingdom when James Greyhelm and 
Paul of Bellatrix succeeded each other for three reigns each, for example.)

If those same ten fighters all enter Crown tourney with their wives, 
girlfriends or other agreeable consort, then the other nine (rather 
than eight) can still compete in the next Crown.
