If you feel like you want to watch the tournament this weekend, then by all
means come to the event.
You will need to be prepared to pay the site fee and probably the non-member
surcharge.
You will want to wear a costume, if you don't have one, let us know and we
can help with that.

Bring a sack lunch and some cold drinks. You may want to bring a chair or
sit on your ice chest. Bring a blanket or cover for your ice chest.
Bring a mug or drinking vessel of some kind. If you can, bring a plate and
silverware, as well, for the snacks from the Luncheon. These can all fit in
a small basket. Use a pillow case or cloth to line the basket to cover it so
things don't get dusty and don't escape. You may want to put your purse type
items in this basket as well.

When you check in, ask how you can get involved and where you can help. They
can introduce you to someone running something. There is lots to help with
and that is a great way to get involved and meet people. They can also point
you to some public shade to set up your chair under with other people. AS
you get to know people you will learn about other activities and how to get
involved in them, too.

Wear comfy shoes for outdoors. Bring sunscreen and a garden hat, too. Bring
a camera. Bring an open attitude and meet lots of people. We are all shy,
too, really, until you get us talking.

Ask questions; there are no stupid questions. If you don't understand
something just explain that you are new.
