No, that was the Renaissance--a "rebirth" of culture, inspired in
part by access to many Greek and Roman writings that had been lost in
Europe, but were preserved by the Moslems.
The Age of Enlightenment was , to quote Wikipedia, "...an elite
cultural movement of intellectuals in 18th century Europe that sought
to mobilize the power of reason in order to reform society and
advance knowledge. It promoted intellectual interchange and opposed
intolerance and abuses in Church and state. "
