From the Lochac list. I know there are a lot of Elizabethan personas in Ansteorra, so I thought some of you might be interested in this.

For those of you interested in Elizabethan English history, there's a
fascinating series on BBC Radio Online called "Shakespeare's Restless World"

20 x 15 minute episodes, covering everything from the effect of Drake's
circumnavigation of the world on English society to the practice of public
cruelty as entertainment, the street theatre associated with James I's
coronation to cross dressing, England's relationship with the Islamic world
and that old favourite, Sex. On top of that, there are copious links to
other programs on renaissance and medieval history.

Thoroughly worth the listen :-)
