[Ansteorra] Nicknames in the SCA-starting a conversation

When I first joined in the late 80s, I chose a simple name Kate O'Hara. I
chose Kate after a beloved character ("Kiss Me Kate"). I chose O'Hara
because it sounded Irish. After some research, I found that Cait fit my
persona better (800 AD). At the last Gulf Wars I attempted to get my name
registered. I have since found out that Cait is actually pronounced Coit
and that it is a dirivitive of Caiterina (again pronounced Coitrina). So my
name will probably end up Caiterina O'Hara. Either way, I still go by Cait
(and pronounce it Kate).
