[Ansteorra] Gulf Wars Volunteers - Please Read

Greetings, Ansteorra!

I have something that I would like for each and every one of you to please consider doing for our beloved Kingdom. 

As announced by the Board of Directors, the SCA has recently reached a settlement in a massive and difficult legal battle that has critically drained its resources and caused significant difficulties for the organization. 
 Unfortunately, in order to meet the terms of the settlement, it has become necessary for the subordinate corporate level checking accounts (Kingdom, Baronies, etc...) to contribute an equal percentage (18%) of their separate total cash assets.

As those of you who have attended Gulf Wars know, volunteers at Gulf War are able to choose how the money earned from their volunteer hours are distributed.  I am asking that each of you choose to have your monies sent to The Kingdom of Ansteorra.  Every year, our populace earns a great deal of volunteer hours, and thus, monies, that are traditionally distributed (per the volunteers' wishes), to local groups, special interests/funds, and to Ansteorra's general fund.  Combined, this is a considerable amount of money.  

When you volunteer at Gulf War this year, please consider earmarking your monies earned to Ansteorra, and help to recoup some of her loss due to the settlement. 

Give back to the Kingdom that has done so much for all of us. Ansteorra needs your help - will you answer her call?
