Folks,
 
   I'm active in a forum that has lots of folks from around the SCA and other medievalist groups, as well as just independent folks.
 
   While some of what I've read is aggravating, I'm genuinely impressed (and that's not easy,) about how many folks are offering to help out others with money. Of all a person opr group's possessions, money is sometimes thehardest to be willing to part with to help another.
 
   I read the East is covering their $95k at Kingdom level, and any of their groups that want to pay in can, and that money will go to help out other KINGDOMS who may be in straits. Drachenwald is set up differently, but is going to chip in their 18% even though they don't have to contribute a pence, a franc, or a dracma. Other examples are out there.
 
   This has given me the opinion that, no matter what problems are happening at the Corporate office, the spirit of helpfulness out in the Knowne World is shining more than 18% to a settlement can diminsh.
