"An incident happened at his house on a weekend."

A series of incidents happened, at his parent's home, at Pennsic, at another war, etc. These things happened over a decade, and he was convicted of abusing eleven children. The likelihood is that he abused quite a few more.

"This case is a serious aberration."

No, it's not. One of our founding members was a convicted pedophile, and the BoD itself noted that this was not an isolated incident.

"And in my opinion, none of it was the SCA's fault."

I agree that the SCA not directly culpable for this particular episode in our history, but I am careful not to let my feelings about the SCA cloud the facts of this case.
