IMPORTANT:

The SCA and the Kingdom of Atenveldt cordially invite you to a BOD
Town Hall, Saturday, March 31, 2012 during Estrella War.   The meeting
will be held from 9:30 – 11:00 AM in the Special Events Pavilion.
All SCA members are encouraged to attend the meeting.  Both the BOD
and Corporate representatives will be present.

Land Allotment - Please remember that land allotment will depend on
Pre-Registration numbers only.  Make sure to Pre-Reg and indicate
which group you plan to camp with so that they will be allotted the
appropriate amount of land.
Family Cap - There is a new family cap rate of Members=$150.00 (2
adults, 1 youth), Non-Members= $160.00.  Additional qualifying youth
would be considered “free”.  You must pre-register to take advantage
of this offer as it is not available at the Front Gate.  For more

Deposit – The Deposit option is back this year.  Pre-registered
attendees can choose to pay their site fees in full or make a one-time
deposit.  The minimum for this deposit is $20 for each youth and adult
being registered, but more can be deposited in $20 increments up to
the full site fee. No further payments will be accepted online or via
mail.  The one-time deposit reserves your pre-registration and any
balance due must paid upon arrival to the War.  Your arrival date is
dependent on the amount of money you deposit.  Only those who have
paid in full their pre-registration will be allowed on site before
general admission (Wednesday, March 28th, 2012 - 8:00 am).

The last date for checks has passed!
February 15, 2012 – Last date for mailed in registration (money
orders, bank checks)
February 17, 2012 – Last date for on-line registration (ACCEPs)

Calling All Chirurgeons!!!!!
War approaches and the call for aid has been raised!  We invite all
chirurgeons, and those who would become chirurgeons, to come to War
and offer your services at Chirurgeon’s Point.  We will happily
welcome you.  Please bring copies of your current certifications, your
current membership, and your valid driver’s license (or other picture
ID that shows your name and date of birth) to put on file at Point.
If you are from out of Kingdom and if you have it, please bring a copy
of your current Kingdom or Baronial Warrant, as well.   If you are
interested in becoming a chirurgeon, you must be at least 18 years
old, be a current member in good standing, and currently certified in
CPR and First Aid.  You must have proof of these with you at War to
become a Chirurgeon in Training.

Greetings from THL Raven Mayne, Kingdom Minister of Arts and Sciences for the
Kingdom of Atenveldt,

I have two very important and exciting announcements about Estrella
War 2012 and reminder about 2013.

First-The Estrella War Arts and Sciences Competition Pre registration
is now OPEN!
Pre-Registration Ends Saturday March 3rd.
Please read all of the Rules and aware of any changes that may have
happened since last year.

Second, a reminder if you not heard already… the final decision has
been made by their Majesties for the process of choosing the arts and
sciences categories for Estrella War A&S Competition XXIX [2013].
An Official Poll has been created with 19 suggested titles. The final categories
chosen will be announced at Estrella War XXVIII [2012]. Then they will be posted
out to the Known World in more detail as soon as I am able.

I would ask that everyone please vote for our top three. The Official Poll is on
the Kingdom of Atenveldt A&S Website, and soon will be on the Estrella War
Website, both where the information about Estrella War A&S Competition XXVIII
[2012] is located currently.
