One paragraph, which is particularly important in regard to continuing  
to allow children at SCA events is:

<<< 20. The SCA offers opportunities for minors to become active in  
SCA related
activities.  As a result, members, including Benjamin Schragger, have  
had abundant and frequent
contacts with minors and access to minors, including the minor  
plaintiffs. Many of these events
included minor children and sought to involve such minor children in  
SCA activities conducted
and organized by Benjamin Schragger and/or the SCA. >>>

Hopefully the other points decrease the importance of this point by  
itself. Again, this is the original complaint and not the findings of  
the court itself. I also note this simply calls out "member" and not  
SCA officer or "Head of the Page School". So this might be read to  
imply anyone having contact with children needs a background check. I  
would hope not.

Another interesting point:
<<< 24. Plaintiffs bring this action for physical, mental and  
emotional damage caused to
the minor children between 1999 and 2003 by the Defendant SCA,  
Benjamin Schragger and
other persons as a result of Defendant's negligence and/or reckless  
acts.  >>>

Someone had asked how long had this happened before the pervert was  
caught and punished, and when was the suit finally filed. It appears  
that the suit was not filed until at least four years after the events  
happened and three years after the pervert was convicted.
