Has anyone tried the silk dying techniques on cotton fabrics? How does it work or hold up? Does it work better than fabric paints? Is there a preferred fabric paint to use for heraldic tabards and the like? I am particularly interested in painting or stenciling, not applique for this project. thanks so much! Claire
