[Ansteorra] Arbitrarily Calling for an End to a Discussion You Dislike

I agree with you Devin. I've seen most that have asked for the end or change of this discussion asked in a way that was very polite and then told how they were being rude. How calling someone rude for asking a change not rude in itself?
Glad I'm just a traveling Norseman, that's going to go Aviking for some mead to relax from reading all this drama.

Um... the only thing I have seen that was ugly was the people screaming for the topic to be discontinued, which I found profoundly rude. And if you believe that no new information or points have been raised, you haven't been reading closely. I haven't seen a single ad hominem attack or fighting, although we are having a very impassioned discussion.
Since even Hotmail will allow you to filter on keywords to remove unwanted topics from your inbox, and so does Gmail and Outlook and Thunderbird etc., instead of calling for a robust discussion to end, perhaps you could just set up a text filter or two. Plenty of us here can instruct on how to do this, or consult these articles:
