One of my undergrad students and his D&D friend came over to my duplex 
in College Station, rummaged through my clothes until they found a 
Speedo, told me to put it on, draped a chamois in front and back, and 
told me I was going to a costume party as a "barbarian." At that party 
they had mead, which I had never before encountered. I was immediately 
hooked.
