[Ansteorra] Regarding Fund Raising

   Flag on the play!  OK, everybody break it up and take a deep
breath....now repeat after me...OMMMMM . Now that we have our zen back, the
original issue here was one of our members put a general all call out to
help another member who is the kind of guy who liked to help others
and needed help himself.

      Hopefully some of the folks out there who may be grateful to him for
past deeds, or those who are philanthropic got him the assistance he needed
before the matter was buried in Politics, with a capital P.
      We are a big group and many within the group are friends with each
other and want to help our friends when they are in need, so I hope
something good came of the shout out. But something bad has come out, too.
We have taken this issue WAAAAAY beyond the spirit of the original post and
this dead horse has been beaten before ad nauseum.

     Most of the time this is the only place we have to reach the majority
of people we know in this great Society. The concerned poster politely
moved his appeal to a more appropriate forum once the hew and cry began so
as not to offend but we have started going off on other tangents. If we
can't use this forum to post an appeal for aid, ask for a ride, invite
others to be socially minded for the Kingdom's good, find out about when
Her Majesty Gillyan is going to have nom noms for the trees (mmmmmm nom
noms), or just say hey let's have a party then this would not be the rich
and wonderful mix that it is.
