Katrine,

My work BB has to be on a stupid annoying ringtone or I simply won't hear
it.  :(  Too much background noise at events makes the unobtrusive
ringtones too hard to hear.  Personally, I think those of us who have to
have our phones on us should just move to an area where we won't bother
anyone, take our calls, and then go back to the event.  It's certainly no
less jarring for me to see someone on a cell phone than it is to see a
nylon camp chair.  Probably less so, for me.
