Hello all,

Looking forward to seeing people tomorrow at Stargate Yule. I noted that my
class is on the schedule for Saturday afternoon, but no description. So
here it is!

*Rock the Castle, Baby!*

(*Optimizing your Performance in Bardic Competitions*)


Presenting well at a bardic competition makes the competition more
enjoyable, not just for you, but for everyone involved. This class focuses
on techniques, tricks, and common sense tips for getting you to the next
level.


The class has five basic themes. First, we’ll talk about picking the pieces
that fit your persona and the competition. Second, I’ll give you the
“you-know-it’s-coming” talk on prepping. Then we’ll discuss presentation
techniques we’ve used successfully in past competitions. Fourth, we’ll look
at performance tips and techniques. Finally, we’ll discuss documentation
for period pieces.


I think it’s going to be a great class and I’m looking forward to it. And,
more importantly, to seeing you rock the castle at your next competition!
