I should have also stated that I didn't especially believe his theory, but it made for a good history discussion.
 
Actually, I thought about Peter's comment (below) and wondered that it was not mentioned in the program. I remember when Diana Spencer married Prince Charles, there were English sighs proclaiming 'Ah, all is now right with the world, the English Royal bloodline is now back on track', when Diana produced heirs.
 
My favorite part of the video was toward the end, when the supposed 'real' king of England, a humble man from down under in Australia, pulled out his own laminated family tree to compare with the hosts family tree. He knew full well his Plantagenet bloodline, yet still voted for Australia to become a Republic.
