Greetings to all this fine morn,
This weekend Her Highness Gwen verch Cynwrig de Ynys Mon, presided over the Southern Regional War College in the Barony of Raven's Fort. Her Highness took to the Rapier field where She inspired all who were in attendance to ready themselves to defend Their realm in the great upcoming Gulf War.
In attendance were many from the Equestrian, Rapier, Chivalric, and Siege Communities along with a small but devoted band of Archers, All were immersed in the strategies of their chosen passion of battle. Many a Rapier were authorized as Chivalric Marshals and many a Chivalric were authorized as Rapier Marshals. Such brother/ sisterhood of Their Majesty's and Their Highness' warriors was joyful to witness. When HE Brian Duvall was asked how many Marshals were authorized he responded (with a wide grin) , "A bunch and a stack!" A true College of War it was.
As the day progressed knowledge was passed and put into action. So exemplary was the teaching of strategy and form, that new fighters slew well seasoned ones. So many memories were made that an entire chapter would need to be written to tell of them all. This event has been a dream of Raven's Fort for a few seasons. We look forward to hopefully hosting next years Southern Regional War College at Raven's Fort.
Many classes were held for those who wished to broaden their knowledge, merchants were selling their wares and taverns were feeding the hungry.

We wish to thank HL Devin and HL Detlef for being the stewards of this event and the officers that set up the different scenarios for those who attended to enjoy themselves . We thank all who helped prepare the site and did work behind the scenes as well. To learn more of this event, speak to any that could travel and so honor their Oath to their Crown
As HL Detlef stated in court, " An event is not an event until someone attends." If you attended and have suggestions to enrich this War Practice , please contact us and let us know your thoughts. Thank you and see you at WAR.
 In service to the dream,

Pasquale Pace and Giovanna Lena Caronna
Baron and Baroness of Raven's Fort
