[Ansteorra] Artisans of the Fort and Raven's Tourney--a gimmick to integrate A&S with martial

I seem to recall once seeing a Cyrano de Bergerac tourney, in which rapier fighters had to perform bardic to launch an attack. 
No bardic - no attack... defense only, so parry, but no riposte... But my memory could be flawed...

How about a full contact Bardic? Or a Rapier/brewing competition! I can see
it all now!!!! Mass chaos!
