THat may very well be true but they will have missed out on all the real fun you were having. It seems that some new people come along and see us being well stuffy and think it is the way they are expected to be.

Don't forget that *whatever* the SCA is now, in five or ten years 
it'll be the "good old days" for today's newbies.
