Duke Seamus of the Cats, Lion of Ansteorra, was once given a
... present ... of the registration of a heraldic badge in honor of
his given name:

(Fieldless) A sea-moose vairy azure and Or, gorged of a coronet
embattled Or.

A monster composed of the front of a moose with a fish's tail, in a
certain pattern of blue and gold.  (And with an embattled coronet
around its neck.)

It appears that they exist in the wild, and in those colors!
