The Bake Sale was a fabulous idea!
I for one applaude Mariana and her team for their hard work and fortitude in hosting this great fund raiser for the OK relief efforts, and to all of those who purchased baked items and just donated funds.
Vivate Mariana and her Crew!    Great Job!

I'd like to say, I'm so proud to be part of the SCA, but I'm especially proud to be part of Ansteorra. Some of our members suffered huge tragedies in Oklahoma and without delay, our SCA family jumped in to help. I seen such a generous response at Steppes this weekend, it overwhelms me. I watched folks bring in bags and bags of donations. I personally had folks come by the bake sale and donate to the cause. 
 
I'd like to thank Elendriel Green for her help on Saturday and Tara, a young lady who was attending her first event with Jennifer Ytuarte, who helped me with the bake sale on Sunday. Thanks to Sara Fynn and Jennifer Ytuarte, for your help in donating baked goods. Thank you to the event stewarts, for helping me set-up my booth and relocating me sunday, when the weather had us move indoors. Thanks to Brandy Merrell, for doing such a great job for those in need. Lastly, I'd like to thank my heart,  my personal Viking, William Sknad, for putting up with me. I love you honey. 
 
I'm especially humbled by the generous cash donations to the bake sale. We raised $473.55 with this sale. I hope this helps bring a little bit of normal back into the lives of those affected by the storms. Thank you to the Barony of Steppes for allowing me to use your event, for the bake sale.
