Do you dabble in calligraphy? Do you occasionally pick up a brush and paint
a scroll?

Do you illuminate at all hours of the day or night to finish beautiful
work? Do you spend hours researching period ink?

However involved or experienced (or inexperienced) you are, if you consider
yourself such a person, you know the Kingdom has need of and appreciates
your service!

We are in need of information! In the past, we have attempted to get an
accurate survey of who in our kingdom does Scribal work, and in what forms.
Ansteorra needs to have a comprehensive and easily updatable list of what
our resources are and who we can call on to do everything from paint a
scroll, to calligraphing names on scrolls at events, to designing scrolls
for new charter designs, local group prizes, or for Peers in need of
elevation scrolls.

So if you count yourself a scribe or illuminator and wish to be on the
rolls of the Ansteorran College of Scribes and Illuminators as an active
member and participant, please fill out the following convenient online
survey! It has information for everyone from “I like to paint but I don’t
have a lot of time” to “scribal is my life, what kind of original do you
need?”

Even if you are very busy right now and are not ‘currently’ available,
please fill out the survey anyway! There is always space for making it
known that you are a scribe who has a busy life and may be available in the
future.  Let our scribal strength be clear! It was made known to me at the
Known World Heraldic and Scribal Sympsium that many kingdoms have detailed
rolls of the capabilities of their scribes, and I saw many excellent
examples of how this information could be used to benefit the Kingdom.

So, if you would please take a few minutes of your time to answer a few
questions and let me know your involvement with our College, I would
greatly appreciate it!

If you know someone who may not see this who is active in the College,
please forward the link on to them and pass it on to any lists on which you
feel it appropriate.
