*Early Bird Rapier Prize Tournament*

Wednesday February 26, 2014 at 3:00pm to 5:00pm

Estrella War Knowne World Rapier Camp

So you came to Estrella War early. So you get to fight early. Join the
other early arrivals and enjoy the camaraderie. The Early Bird Tournament
is for those Rapier fighters who are on site and ready to fight early in
the War. It will be a five weapons style prize tourney. Bring a prize
valued at $10-$20 to enter. There will be as many fights as possible, with
everyone fighting every round, and prizes will be given out based on the
number of fights won. Heavy Rapier is the standard, but Cut & Thrust is
encouraged for those authorized.

Atenveldt allowable blade conventions will be observed. Tournament Marshals
and designees will inspect parrying devices, armor, and weapons before each
tournament. Armor standards are those of your home kingdom.

All authorized rapier fighters must provide proof of their authorization in
Heavy Rapier / Cut & Thrust Rapier, or else have a Marshal from their
Kingdom vouch for them.

*Men’s Skirts Tournament*

Thursday February 27, 2014 at 10:00am to 12:00pm

Estrella War Knowne World Rapier Camp

Men's Skirts Tournament will be a five weapons style prize tourney (Bring a
prize valued at $10-$20 to enter.). Everyone will fight every round, and
prizes will be given out based on the number of fights won.

As the name suggests, only males can sign up and they must wear a skirt.
Acceptable skirts include dresses, full-length skirts, and kilts (all
exposed skin must be covered according to SCA Rapier armor standards).
Fighters and their consorts may add other "accessories" as they wish.

In addition to the prizes brought by the fighters; first place, "best
dressed", "most graceful", and "most tragic death" will get a prize. The
gallery at the conclusion of the tournament will vote “Best Dressed”, “Most
Graceful”, and “Most Tragic Death” winners on.

Atenveldt allowable blade conventions will be observed. Tournament Marshals
and designees will inspect parrying devices, armor, and weapons before each
tournament. Armor standards are those of your home kingdom.

All authorized rapier fighters must provide proof of their authorization in
Heavy Rapier / Cut & Thrust Rapier, or else have a Marshal from their
Kingdom vouch for them.

*Rapier Roses Cancer Tournament*

Friday February 28, 2014 at 2:00pm to 4:00pm

Town Square Tournament Aeric

In honor of those who fight the on-going battle against cancer, having lost
or continuing to fight, the Roses for Cancer Tournament is a fund raiser.
All fighters are encouraged to donate $5 or more to enter the tourney and
any and all are encouraged to donate even if they don’t enter the tourney
(this is a fundraiser after all). The format is a progressive weapons style
tournament with each fighter guaranteed a minimum of 4 fights. Rules of the
field are standard Atenveldt conventions. There will be a prize, but it
will not be announced in advance and will be given privately to the winner
of the tournament.

Atenveldt allowable blade conventions will be observed. Tournament Marshals
and designees will inspect parrying devices, armor, and weapons before each
tournament. Armor standards are those of your home kingdom.

All authorized rapier fighters must provide proof of their authorization in
Heavy Rapier / Cut & Thrust Rapier, or else have a Marshal from their

Friday, February 28, 2014 - List and armor inspection: 2:30 PM

Town Square, Sports field

The Tournaments will be held on Friday the 27th of February, at Estrella
War XXX, in the Town Square. There will be two Lists. His Excellency Seelos
will oversee the Hardsuit list and Her Excellency Elena will have the
Rapier list.  The lists are open to all non-belted and non-white scarf
fighters of the Known World who have been fighting in their respective
disciplines for 3 years or less. Fighters are encouraged to use whichever
weapon form they feel most competent with and may choose a different weapon
form in any round. The Tournament formats will depend on the number of
participants.

Fighters, bring your Consort and any pageantry that you can muster. If you
do not have a consort, we can help find you one. If you would like to be a
consort, please see Her Excellency Elena of Atenveldt at 2:30PM at the list
table.

We ask that the members of the Chivalry and the White Scarf have come
support the young fighters and help to marshal the lists.

The Lists will open at 2:30PM and the tourney will begin at 3:30pm. All
Fighters will go through a formal inspection of armor and weapons. There
will be a medallion for the Overall Victor of each tournament, and also one
for the fighter deemed to be the most Chivalrous by HE Elena’s Ladies
Gallery. Duke Arthur O’Flaherty, Laurel and Knight of the Society crafted
the medallions and entrance favors.

*Estrella War Pistoleer Grandisimo Tournament*

Saturday March 1, 2014 at 9:00am to 10:00am

Rapier Melee Battlefield

Who is the Estrella War "Pistoleer Grandissimo"? This is a “rapier”
tournament in which there are no rapiers. Instead, fighters will
demonstrate their skill and accuracy with one of the war weapons: the
dreaded RBG!

The Third Annual Estrella War Pistoleer shooting tourney will take place
Saturday morning ON THE BATTLEFIELD. This tournament will start on time and
move fast (so we can get back to war!) Bring a legal RBG pistol and 2
rounds of ammo (PISTOL ONLY). Targets will be set and shooters will fire.
Only those who hit will move on to the next round, moving back to the next
range. This will continue until only one remains—the Pistoleer Grandisimo
for Estrella War XXX. Only one can prove themselves the best, and only the
best will be awarded a prize.

Participants will wear armor as they would on the melee field, including
fencing masks and gloves.

A loaner pistol or two will be available for those without.

*Estrella War Cut & Thrust Tournament*

Saturday March 1, 2014 at 1:30pm to 3:30pm

This is an invitation only tournament.

*HINT*: Everyone who is authorized is invited to participate!

Every attempt at pre 1600 weapons and style of use of those weapons will be
encouraged.

Format is everyone fights everyone. Each pairing is to 3 bouts, win or
lose. Armor requirements will be to the standards of each fighter’s home
Kingdom.

Rules of the field are standard Atenveldt Cut and Thrust conventions
(thrusts, tip cuts, draw cuts, and percussive cuts). The fighter with the
most total bouts won will be declared the victor.

The prize will be a period manual from the sponsor’s personal collection.

*Allowable Weapons:*  Maximum blade length for single-handed weapons is 38
inches as measured forward of the quillons/guard. Two-handed weapons will
be judged on a case-by-case basis, but must be used as two handed and not
just to increase length of reach.

Atenveldt allowable blade conventions will be observed. Tournament Marshals
and designees will inspect parrying devices, armor, and weapons before each
tournament. Armor standards are those of your home kingdom.

Come one, come all, Lady Rapier Fighters of the Known World: participate in
the Weissdrachen Lady’s Schlager Treasure Chest Tournament. This year’s
tournament is once again in honor and memory of The Most Honorable Lady
Regan Weissdrachen. Test your skills with sword in hand, against other
Ladies while wearing your fanciest Fighting Garb. Demonstrate the “Spirit”
ladies have on and off of the tournament field. Today we celebrate Life!
